Cortoon LGFA Notes for Tuam Herald - 22 Apr 2026:

Cortoon Shamrocks LGFA: U12s played their debut game last week v Fr. Griffin Eire Og. They played a great game of football in their new gear. Thanks to KMG Geoghegans for sponsoring the jerseys. The first of many games to come. Thanks to management and coaches for all their work with the underage girls.

Our Junior Ladies began their season with an away game to St. Brendan’s Ballygar last Saturday. It was a lively and competitive match, with a strong display that promises plenty for the games ahead. Thanks to Cardiobox for sponsoring the jerseys.

Junior ladies play Monivea Abbey B at home this Saturday, 25 April, at 7pm. Please come out and support the ladies.

Training resumes in pitch: U8/U10/U12 training Monday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

Junior ladies training 7.30pm to 8.30pm Monday and 7.45pm to 8.45pm Friday.
